The following are definitions Technocel uses in determining the validity of every warranty claim.

Definitions:

Normal Wear and/or Tear : Not defective due to workmanship or proven product defect, but returned in non-resalable condition due to extended use.

Misuse and/or Abuse: Not defective but returned in non-resalable condition due to physical abuse, misuse, neglect or accident.

Incomplete: Missing parts making the product non-resalable.

Out of Warranty: When the warranty period of a product has expired.

Voided Warranty: When anyone other than a Technocel Certified Technician removes the Warranty label, attempts to open or repair a product, the product's warranty is null and void and cannot be replaced by Technocel.

 

An example of Misuse and/or Abuse. Scratches on the housing due to excessive wear and tear.

An example of Voided Warranty.
A label which has been removed and then re-attached to the product or a label which has been torn and exposes the internal components.

An example of Misuse and/or Abuse.
A Cord which has been detached or pulled out of its connection.

An example of Misuse and/or Abuse.
Parts broken or torn out of existing cavities.

An example of Voided Warranty. Warranty labels removed or tampered with.

An example of Misuse and/or Abuse.
Missing connector with wires exposed.

An example of Voided Warranty. Warranty label removed and/or product has been opened or outside cavity has been breached.

An example of Normal Wear and/or Tear.
Normal wear and tear to the materials including scuffs, scratches and distress does not imply the accessory is defective due to faulty workmanship.

An example of Misuse and/or Abuse.
Tears along the side elastic material of the product due to excessive wear and tear.
